And that's the page I've been waiting 4 years to draw!

For those of you who have checked out my about page, you make have noticed that I mentioned being inspired by Hawaiian mythology. In these stories, shark deities often have the ability to switch back and forth between human shape and their shark forms.

It's probably been the single most difficult page for me to draw and color, because I wanted to show the main character's transformation in a manner that was visually interesting, yet simple and natural. I'm not a huge fan of creating a lightshow every time something mysterious or magical occurs.
